I am a hoarder when it comes to basketball notes, books, and videos. I was reading through some notes last night from Michael Neighbors, head women's coach at the University of Washington. In 2012 he made an effort to read 12 books in the month of July (during recruiting season). I am not going to set my personal reading goals quite as lofty as his (he went on to say that he read 61 books in 2012...WOW!), however I am going to try to read at least 1 book each month. I feel that this is an attainable goal and in doing so, I would have read 12 more books than I read this past year! While I have started several books this past year I did not finish one. So my first goal is to finish one of those books. I will start (and finish) How to Build and Sustain a Championship Culture by Jeff Janssen.
